1. Tonight, July 4, there's a Mixtape Party with DJ West [80s+90s Night] at the Trickster's Hideout, located at 38005 Cleveland Ave., from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

"Throw on your acid-wash jeans and zip up that windbreaker—DJ KWEST is spinning a night of nothing but the dopest 80s + 90s jams on vinyl. This isn’t a playlist; this is the real deal—KWEST lived the mixtape era and he’s about to take you on a ride through the raddest decades in music history." reads the listing.

2. July 5, the Discover Aviation Day is on at the Squamish Airport, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

"Come join us at the Squamish Airport to learn all about flying from the pilots who call Squamish home. There will be airplanes and helicopters on display and free flights offered for local kids 8 to 18 years old (weather permitting)," reads the listing.

3. Also on July 5, catch Jocelyn Pettit at Squamish Academy of Music, located at 38121 2 Ave., from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.

"HERE TO STAY Album Release Tour Jocelyn Pettit & Ellen Gira Doors 7 p.m., Concert 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $25 Adults, $15 Youth, Free for Kids 12 & under. 4. And yet another on July 5, there's NiKo: Live music on the patio at the Brackendale Art Gallery, from 6 to 10 p.m. 

"Peppered with hopeful sadness and gritty deep growls of desire, NiKo takes you down a melodic path that you weren't fully aware you needed to take. Lending curiosity of anticipated unknown while taking you on a familiar journey through the pathways of your heart," reads the listing.

5. Looking to July 10, freak yourself out old school at Summer Movie Series: JAWS at the Squamish Public Library, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

"Beat the heat and come to the library for a screening of Jaws to celebrate its 50th anniversary," reads the listing."Jaws (rated PG) is a 1975 American thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg. Based on the 1974 novel by Peter Benchley, it stars Roy Scheider as police chief Martin Brody, who, with the help of a marine biologist (Richard Dreyfuss) and a professional shark hunter (Robert Shaw), hunts a man-eating great white shark that attacks beachgoers at a summer resort town."

6. On July 12, get your country on at Trickster's Hideout for YEE HAW – Country Hits Night from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

"Dust off your boots and grab your cowboy hat — it’s time for Country Hits Night at Trickster’s Hideout!
