Shailene Woodley confirmed that she鈥檚 engaged to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The actor discussed her relationship with Rodgers on 鈥淭he Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon鈥� on Monday, saying they got engaged 鈥渁 while ago.鈥� The 37-year-old Rodgers mentioned his engagement and thanked his fianc茅e while accepting his third career MVP award on Feb. 6 but didn鈥檛 say her name.

鈥淵es, we are engaged,鈥� Woodley said. 鈥淲e are engaged. But for us, it鈥檚 not new news, you know, so it鈥檚 kind of funny. Everybody right now is freaking out over it and we鈥檙e like, 鈥榊eah, we鈥檝e been engaged for a while.鈥欌��

The 29-year-old Woodley said she still hasn鈥檛 attended one of Rodgers鈥� games, noting the attendance restrictions caused by the pandemic this past season. Woodley added that she鈥檇 never even seen a football game before meeting Rodgers.

鈥淗e鈥檚 first off just a wonderful, incredible human being, but I never thought I鈥檇 be engaged to somebody who threw balls for a living,鈥� Woodley said. 鈥淟ike I never thought as a little girl, I was like, 鈥榊eah, when I grow up, I鈥檓 going to marry someone who throws balls, yeah!鈥� But he鈥檚 really just so good at it.鈥�

Woodley said she realized Rodgers was a football player when they met but didn鈥檛 know much about his career. She said friends now try to get her to watch Rodgers鈥� highlights on YouTube.

鈥淚 don鈥檛 know him as a football guy,鈥� Woodley said. 鈥淚 know him as like the nerd who wants to host 鈥楯eopardy!鈥�. That鈥檚 the dude I know. He just happens to also be very good at sports.鈥�

Rodgers was announced last month as a celebrity guest host for the long-running game show. Longtime 鈥淛eopardy!鈥� host Alex Trebek died of cancer on Nov. 8. Rodgers鈥� guest hosting stint begins April 5.

Woodley was talking to Fallon on Monday to promote her movie 鈥淭he Mauritanian.鈥� Her previous credits include the HBO series 鈥淏ig Little Lies,鈥� 鈥淭he Fault In Our Stars鈥� and 鈥淒ivergent.鈥�
